Mile 10 Palace of Fine Arts Dome

MILE 10 "A naked sigularity"

LOCATION: Under the Palace of Fine Arts Dome

FERRIS

(He is spinning under the dome, looking up)

I like to spin you know? Twirl… around and around… Looking up at the dome… It's solid… unchanging. A great comfort. Not like the real sky… It's not that I'm agoraphobic…Too much. I just know… too much. How big it all really is… you know? The universe… and it keeps getting bigger… Expanding all the time… and it all came from one tiny point. A naked singularity. We were all ONE once… and BANG! Infinity comes into existence. It blows my mind. Like, if you lie on the ground under the real sky… It's like you could just fall into it and keep on falling forever. But here under the dome… I have something to catch me. I'm not afraid to dance... Or… to look up.
